Fabio Luchese, MD

Dr. Fabio Luchese is currently a Research Fellow in the Division of Neuropsychiatry and Neuromodulation at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He obtained his MD degree from the University of Turin in Italy and completed an exchange period at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, Netherlands. His research interests lie in the intersection of brain stimulation techniques and neuroimaging, with a particular emphasis on understanding how neuromodulation interventions can modulate brain networks involved in both neurological and psychiatric disorders. Under the supervision of Dr. Paolo Cassano, his primary goal is to advance the field of photobiomodulation (tPBM) and explore its potential to improve brain function and address neuropsychiatric dysfunctions through novel therapeutic applications.
