Ruby Ho

Former Biography
Ruby Ho was a student at Worcester Technical High School where she was enrolled in the biotechnology program. She has a strong passion for biomedical research, neuroscience, and engineering. Influenced by her experience as an apprentice in the MEDMAIN Laboratory at WPI’s mechanical engineering department, delving into the research of Aspiration Thrombectomy in Ischemic Stroke, inspired her to pursue a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in the future. During her time at MGH, she was under the guidance of Dr. Wade, where she analyzed PTSD Symptom severity using neuroimaging data and Machine Learning techniques. Outside of academics and research, she is the captain of her school’s varsity tennis team and president of the Asian Student Union Club. In her free time, she loves hanging out with her loved ones, exploring new restaurants and cafes, and being an active member of her community.
