Walker Pedersen, PhD
Dr. Pedersen completed his PhD in Dr. Christine Larson’s laboratory at UW – Milwaukee, followed by an NRSA postdoctoral fellowship working with Dr. Richard Davidson at UW – Madison. He is currently a neuroimaging analyst in the Laboratory for Neuropsychiatry and Neuromodulation at MGH. Much of Dr. Pedersen’s work focuses on the neural mechanisms of anxiety and negative emotion. This type of basic emotion research provides a foundation for understanding the neural underpinnings of mood and anxiety disorders.
