Sofia Huayamave graduated from Brown University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Public Health. She is a TMS Technician and research associate at Boston Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry. Her main work is focused on researching and identifying positive predictors and social determinants on TMS response in patients with major depressive disorder. She is part of the HEAL Initiative, which focuses on understanding and improving prevention and treatment for opioid misuse and addiction. Sofia is also part of the Division of Neuropsychiatry and Neuromodulation at MGH.
