Brianna Lenza
Brianna graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology & Neuroscience, along with a minor in Sociology. Brianna’s interests span across all of severe psychopathology with the goal of pursuing a career as a Clinical Psychologist, aiding in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. She began her career following her undergraduate studies as a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania investigating nicotine addiction symptomology and responses to different labeling and promotions of products. She then transitioned into emotional memory and aging research at Boston College in December of 2022. Here, she gained experience working with Down Syndrome populations as well as healthy controls in fMRI studies. Now, Brianna works in the Division of Neuropsychiatry and Neuromodulation as a Clinical Research Coordinator focusing on using TMS and fMRI to target emotion regulation in individuals with bipolar disorder. In her free time, Brianna enjoys weight lifting, cooking, traveling and exploring the city of Boston with her friends.
